Argon Plasma Coagulation

A medical technique called argon plasma coagulation (APC) is used to treat a variety of gastrointestinal problems that include bleeding or aberrant tissue development. It is a form of non-contact thermal treatment that combines a stream of ionized argon gas with a high-frequency electrical current. Argon Plasma Coagulation has the benefit of being precise and regulated, which enables focused therapy with less harm to nearby healthy tissues. It is a flexible approach that may be used on different gastrointestinal tract anatomical locations.
